Charles Duane Barfield

Charles Duane Barfield, age 87, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was born March 31, 1935 in Moultrie, GA, son of the late B.L. Barfield and Gladys Taylor Barfield. He graduated from Moultrie High School and attended South Georgia College, served 6 years in the U.S. Navy, Member of Westwood Baptist Church and a 50 year member of Oakville Lodge No.599 F.& A.M. Memphis, TN. He is retired from TVA and worked at Allen Steam Plant Memphis, TN and Kingston Steam Plant, Kingston, TN. Charles was an avid golfer with many friends he cherished. He leaves behind his wife, Jewell, of 64 years ,son, David Barfield (Melinda); daughter, Dianne Seals (David); grandchildren, Christopher Barfield (Michelle), Taylor Fulmer (Cody), Madeline Seals, and David Seals Jr. ;great grandchild, Cannon Barfield; sister, Solita Gordon of Moultrie, GA. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother, Lowell Barfield. No services are scheduled at this time.
