Carole Ann Bogardus

Carole Ann Bogardus, age 80, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on March 30, 2023, at Cumberland Medical Center. She was born on July 10, 1942, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, daughter of the late Frank Mizak and Julia (Kushner) Mizak. Carole was a supervisor in special needs mental health. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Bogardus (wife, Christina Wong Bogardus) and Keith Bogardus; grandchildren, Conrad Bogardus and Nolan Bogardus; and nieces, Allison McDonald and Alicia Kidd. In addition to her parents, Carole is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Frederick Bogardus; and brother, Frank Mizak. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
