Carla Revell Rector

Carla Revell Rector, age 77, of Crossville, TN, passed away on March 26, 2022 at Wyndridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Rector was born on April 12, 1944, in Crossville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Hugh Smallwood and Sarah Frances (Mahanney) Smallwood. Carla retired from Kroger and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her Son - Edward Hughie Rector and wife Melissa; Stepson - David Rector; Grandchildren - Sean Edward Rector and Ann Marie Wakefield; Great Grandchildren - Aubrey Wakefield, Christopher Wakefield, and Zayleigh Wakefield; Brother - Glen Smallwood. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by Brothers – Ed, Bill, James, Jesse, Hurbert, Charlie, and Wesley Smallwood; Sisters – Donna Mae Tobitt, Annie Sue Knight, and Sylvie Murphy. Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jacob Melton officiating. Burial to follow at Crossville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
