Calvin James Henry

Calvin James “Hunkus” Henry, age 68, was born on September 30, 1954, to Otis and Ila Ann Henry in Crossville, TN. He passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Cumberland Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Henry; daughters, Amber Henry (Michael Bayless), Shelby Oakes, and Casey Bowman; son, Shannon Oakes; brothers, Jack Henry (Mary), Steve Henry, and Jerry Henry (Gina); sisters, Sue Rivers (Jim), Tracy Noland (David) and Sherry Eldridge (Eddie); 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; father-in-law, Jr. Pugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Ila Ann (Carmack) Henry; nephew, Jeremy Powers; grandparents and a host of aunts and uncles.

Calvin was an avid University of Tennessee football fan. He loved spending time with his family and cherished his grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Crossville City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Pallbearers, Rob Hayes, Wayne Shadden, Billy Norris, Kevin Woody, Brian Eldridge, Jake Henry, and Marvin Lee.
