Bobby Lynn Godsey

Bobby Lynn Godsey, age 67, of Rockwood, TN, passed away at Roane Medical Center on Friday, January 12, 2024. Mr. Godsey was born on June 19, 1956, in Crab Orchard, TN, son of the late Frank Godsey and Sylvia (Dannels) Godsey. Bobby was a heavy equipment operator at a Rock Quarry, and he was of the Christian Faith. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Godsey; children, Dana Roysdon (Sean), Dylan Godsey (Amanda), Braxton Godsey, Braden Godsey and Atalee Godsey; grandchildren, Tyvon, Tate, Silas and Bellamy; he was also papaw to Shay, Waylon, Lane, Wyatt and Whitley; siblings, Diana Hale (Allen), Rickie Godsey, Pete Godsey, Patsy Barnes and Lucy Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldene Conger, Imojene Hoskins, Christine Cox, Peggy Back, Glenda Gunter and Brenda Godsey; and brothers, Tommy Godsey, Joe Godsey and Raymond Godsey. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Dogwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
