Billie Ray Whitaker

Billie Ray Whitaker, age 79, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away at his home on April 30, 2023. He was born on November 5, 1943, in Cookeville, Tennessee, son of the late Arvil Whitaker and Annie (Bryant) Whitaker. Billie served his country in the United States Navy and worked as an Insurance Salesman. He was of the Christian Faith. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita Whitaker; children, Angela Landrem, Ray Whitaker, April Ward (Aaron), and Megan Elmore (Kyle); grandchildren, Brook Ritzman, Ivy Ritzman, Kaitlyn Landrem, Piper Elmore. In addition to his parents, Billie is preceded in death by his brothers, Doyle Whitaker, Donald Whitaker, Dolan Whitaker, Terry Whitaker; and sister, Margie Johnson. Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 4:00 PM. Burial will follow at Haleys Grove Cemetery.
