Barbara Jean Franklin

Barbara Jean Franklin, age 88, of Crossville, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Cumberland Medical Center. Barbara was born on Thursday, July 26, 1934, in Muncie, IN, daughter of the late Elmer Mathews and Ada (King) Mathews. She was a mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was an avid crocheter and quilter. Barbara was loved by all she encountered and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Jack Alan Franklin and Jennifer Ann Franklin; grandchildren, Trevor Franklin, Rachel Dudek, and Keith Dudek; great grandchildren, Conor Pacentine and Lukas Hutson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, O.W. Franklin; brothers, Orvile Mathews and Donald Mathews; sister, Helen Ball. Graveside Services will be held at Green Acres Memory Gardens on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Arrangements and Care provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
