Also, by her brother, Carl (Bernice) Carter of Decatur. She will be missed by her church family and the many friends she made over the years. Sue has always been wholly dedicated to her Lord, joining Emmanuel Baptist Church in 1990. She served generously in any way needed until her passing; sharing her love for Jesus and the path of salvation with everyone she met. Sue was a bookkeeper for Plateau Lanes for many many years. After she retired, she dedicated her time to the Forster Grandparent Program for nearly 30 years. She loved sewing and baking. Many around town have been blessed with a baby quilt, pie, cake, or fudge. Sue dearly loved her family and was so proud of them all. This includes her “girls” that she worked with and stayed close to for so many years. She adored her church family and the special people who were so very good to her as her close friends. We all have so many wonderful memories of being with her. Her giggle was infectious. She could make you laugh over anything. Spending time over a meal around her table so many times or just talking with her. She was the best example of Proverbs 31. Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Pastor and good friend, Johnny Goldston will be officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens with her grandsons acting as pallbearers. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
