Alice V. Hyder

Alice V. Hyder, age 96, of Crossville, TN, passed away on March 5, 2023, at Cumberland House. She was born on April 23, 1926, in Crossville, TN, daughter of the late James Henry Barnett and Mary Emma (Stevens) Barnett. Alice was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Leslie Hyder (Terry), Larry Hyder (Audrey), Jerry Hyder (Janice), Kenny Hyder (Donna), Eddie Hyder, and Kathy Burgess (Eldon); grandchildren, Wayne, Stacy, Tammy, Brian, Tina, Tim, Jake, Kristopher, Jessica, Kelli, and Alli; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Clyde Barnett; and sister, Lela Wyatt. In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Matthew Hyder; and brothers, Blaine Barnett, Lloyd Barnett, Allen Barnett, Earl Barnett, Hugh L. Barnett, and infant brother. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund. A Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens.
