Aaron Lovon Ford, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 74 at his home. Born on Saturday, May 27, 1950, in Crossville, TN, Aaron spent his final years in the warm embrace of his family in Monterey, TN. Aaron's life was marked as a general laborer. He found joy by being outdoors as he loved hunting and fishing. He was looking forward to being able to take his Grandson for his first turkey hunt in April. He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Jeanette (Bradshaw) Ford; children, Amy Smith (Dustin) and their children Aiden, Bryson, Chloe, and Cameron; Mary Lawson and her children Ashley, Jessica, and Eli; Noah Ford and his children Kaylee and Jada Ford, and Elvin Ford and his children Andrew and Bailey; grandchildren Calvin, Eric, Justin, and Nicholas, as well as six great-grandchildren who brought joy to his later years; and his dear sisters, Ruby and Betty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marie (Dennis) Ford; his beloved son, James Ford; grandson, James Ford Jr., granddaughter Hope Manning; son-in-law, Jeff Lawson; and his siblings, Everett, Harlan, Earnest, Elvin, Jean, Alaine and Edna Mae, who each held a special place in his heart. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, TN, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service to honor Aaron's life at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Mayland Cemetery. Aaron will be deeply missed by those who knew him best. Knowing Aaron meant accepting that he was a bit of a stubborn goat and not exactly the tearful type. He grew up hard and with very little, but beneath all that, he had a deep affection for his family, especially the younger crew. And after many long years of dealing with pain, he's finally found some peace. Arrangements have been provided by Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
